The District seeks to control mosquitoes through the removal and treatment of larval mosquito sources. However, where adult activity is high and disease transmission is detected, the District will make targeted Ultra Low Volume (ULV) applications of products over areas where mosquitoes are most active to reduce the adult population and decrease the risk of disease transmission.
